My name is Fabio Said, and I’m the blogger behind fidusinterpres.com.

I’m a native Brazilian, 35 years old, living in Germany since 2007. I have been a professional translator since 1993, translating from German and English into my mother tongue, Brazilian Portuguese.

I specialize mostly in Law, Business/Finance and Philosophy, but have had extensive experience in terminology of Industrial Engineering, Quality Management and Third Sector (NGOs).

In 17 years of translation background, I have worked with legal translation, sworn translation, technical translation, website localization, consecutive interpreting, translation for video/TV and book translation. Here are some of my book translations:

I am a member of the ATA (American Translators Association) and ABRATES (Associação Brasileira de Tradutores e Intérpretes).
